Reasons to join this course:

This will be an intense course for those practitioners wishing to upgrade their skills in flapless and minimally invasive implant dentistry. Successful implant therapy can no longer be judged by whether or not the implant osseointegrates. Precise duplication of the color, contour, and vitality of natural dentition may ultimately also result in an esthetic failure if the optimal gingival profile is absent. This concept of tissue-directed implant dentistry signifies a paradigm shift from conventional therapy.

This clinically oriented presentation emphasizes:

Flapless surgery and minimally invasive procedures

  • The power of provisionals to form or maintain gingival architecture
  • Immediate implant placement
  • Immediate restoration of implants
  • Immediate loading of implants

Learn, enjoy, and take out of this course:

  • Treatment planning: comprehensive clinical, radiographic, photographic, functional, and prosthetic examination to determine an appropriate treatment plan
  • Involvement of all members of the  interdisciplinary team: restorative dentist, periodontist, maxillofacial surgeon, orthodontist, and prosthetic technician
  • 3D implant planning and fabrication of an accurate surgical guide based on wax up and cone beam x-ray
  • Ridge preservation using provisional prosthesis with the shield pontic in the extraction site
  • Augmentation of edentulous ridges with hard and soft tissue prior to implant placement
  • Using provisional prostheses to establish optimal gingival margins and interdental papillae prior to implant placement
  • Flapless half punch technique to place implants atraumatically and promote esthetic outcomes
  • Immediately restoration of implants and immediately loading of  implants

What else to expect:

  • Live surgeries showing implant placement and immediate restorations
  • Extensive hands-on portion to place and immediately restore several implants in IDEAs state-of-the-art simulation laboratory
  • Hands-on 3D Implant planning and introduction to the surgical microscope

A great overall implant course. Excellent concepts explained in superb detail.  I found this to be one of the most valuable courses I have ever been in for surgical placement and prosthodontic restorations.
